More than 78,000 readers, 1,201,832 storage units, more than 100 periodical titles - this is not all that can be said about ICBC. For our wonderful readers, we select only the best - the most interesting and significant cultural programs, musical evenings, art exhibitions, meetings with famous people, writers, poets, artists - with the creators of our cultural radius of St. Petersburg and Russia as a whole.
You have access to a subscription, reading and Internet rooms, information and service centers, where you can at any time request bibliographic information on a topic that interests you, receive quick and professional advice on library collections, and use office services.
By signing up for our library, along with a single electronic ticket, you also get access to universal full-text and bibliographic databases, legal systems, as well as e-books litres.ru, access to which you will also receive completely free of charge.
ICBL is part of the Corporate Network of Public Libraries (CNPL), which means that even if the book you need is in the hands of another reader, they will certainly find a copy for you in one of the libraries included in the CNPL, and you will be able to book and pick it up find it there or order the book to be delivered to our library.
