The children's library was founded in 1944. It reopened after major renovations in 2013.

On the ground floor there is a workshop for conducting master classes, on the second there is a film lecture hall and an exhibition hall.
The library hosts meetings with children's writers, book presentations, exhibitions, play areas, new releases from book publishers, fine arts and arts and crafts clubs.
