Bishop Tikhon of Arkhangelsk and Kholmogory consecrated the beginning of work on the construction of the Church of St. Anthony and installed a capsule at the base. December 3, 2006
The rector of the Anthony-Siysky Monastery, Archimandrite Tryphon, performed the rite of consecration of the crosses of the small and large domes of the temple. The temple was cut down by Yaroslavl carpenters.
It is made in the traditions of northern wooden architecture. The high hipped roof is topped with a dome with a cross. The small dome is crowned by a small belfry located above the entrance. The heads are covered with a ploughshare. The temple is surrounded on three sides by a gallery. A rectangular apse protrudes from the eastern side. The decoration of the temple is a wooden carved iconostasis, also made in Yaroslavl. Icons for the temple are also painted there.
