Interactive Museum "Poet's Head"

The unique interactive children's museum "The Poet's Head", which has no analogues in St. Petersburg, is located in the very center of Tsarskoye Selo in the city of Pushkin.
Address: Pushkin, Lyceum lane. 1/4
Telephone: +7(911)224-21-79
In the very heart of Tsarskoye Selo, the “Poet’s Head” settled next to the Catherine Palace in the House of the director of the Tsarskoye Selo Lyceum, E.A. Engelhardt.

The museum was created by a team of authors and artists based on Pushkin’s fairy tales and assumes full interaction of children with the surrounding space: all museum artifacts can be touched, moved, the entire space of the museum is a single field for an adventure game.

Children will definitely love the wonders of the museum and the opportunity to solve its mysteries on their own. The house of the main curator of the museum - the Scientist's Cat, the Golden Cockerel, the glorious ship of Tsar Saltan, the tent of the Shamakhan Queen and much more awaits visitors to the Museum! The unique space of the children's museum was created within the walls where lyceum student A.S. often visited during his studies.
Pushkin. A bright, unusual atmosphere surrounds the visitor with mysticism and mystery; the place itself is imbued with history and the spirit of the times. Perhaps the ideas for the works of the great Russian poet were born here, it was here that he left a piece of himself... and now you can look in and imagine what could be going on in the poet’s brilliant head! The entire museum is one global art object, original and unique, invented and embodied by the hands of artists from beginning to end.

All exhibits in the museum participate in a riddle game. In the words of the artists: “the scenery should absorb the viewer, directing it into a fairy-tale world.” It is precisely this perception and closer tactile contact that distinguishes the mystery museum “The Poet’s Head” from the traditional one, in which the exhibits “cannot be touched with hands.”
