The “Tree of Love” appeared in the garden in 2011.
Its metal trunk is decorated with hundreds of red leaves, which give the plant the shape of a large heart. The tree is endowed with magical properties. It is believed that if lovers decorate its branches with a lock and hide the key in a chest attached directly to the trunk, then their union will be long and happy.

"Houses on Chicken Legs"
Some of the first monolithic high-rise buildings in Leningrad were built on the embankment of the Smolenka River. These are the 22-story houses of the architect Sokhin, who used non-typical technology during construction - firstly, they were built not from blocks or panels, but from monolithic reinforced concrete; The second feature was the unusual supports at the base of the building. As a result, the house stands on a central pillar and concrete supports, which are popularly called “legs”. This is where the rumor about Baba Yaga's house on Smolenka came from.

The memorial stele became the center of the green zone. Shrubs and trees were planted around and paths were laid. Today the park is popular among residents of the surrounding area; it hosts an annual Stroller Parade.
