We visited a new hookah bar in the city center called "Ch" for a test opening in early December 2013.
The name Che (Ch) refers us to the revolutionary Che Guevara, the commandant of the 1959 Cuban Revolution. The very first thing you pay attention to in Ch is the atmosphere and music. There are two large rooms, one made in dark colors, and the second with wall paintings in the Pink Floyd style on the theme of space with soft pillows. The establishment initially belonged to the chain of Unique Hookah Bars, but over time it began to exist separately; it has a slightly different format, there is a menu designed in the form of a Soviet newspaper, there are prices, and quite reasonable for the city center.
Che takes us back to the atmosphere of the Soviet Union and St. Petersburg apartment dwellers; pleasant music plays here from Cinema and Aquarium to Nirvana.
You can play board games and enjoy singing songs with a guitar. In the second room there is an X-Box, a TV for film screenings, Dandy is planned. Separately, it is worth noting the serving of tea in the establishment - here it will be served to you in cup holders, there is also the opportunity to order a whole samovar of tea.
For tea we ordered the signature Snickers cake, carefully prepared by the owners of the establishment. We recommend. Other dishes here include sushi, hot dogs, wok. Hookahs
Hookahs here are made by craftsmen from UK, who have gained experience in preparing both strong and classic tobaccos.
Here you will be treated to Nakhla, Tangiers, Starbuzz, Doobacco and others. The hookahs themselves are mostly high-quality Egyptian Khalil Mamkoon, there are also designer Kaya and Temple. Ventilation has recently been done, which is a big plus. Our visit to Che is that rare case when you feel good at the establishment and want to visit it again. Not only for high-quality hookahs, but for many things - music, atmosphere, good nature of the owners. We definitely recommend visiting this place if you love St. Petersburg and want to get to know it from different sides.
