Address:
Novocherkassky pr., 20
Despite the fact that the park has been open for a long time, since 1960, a major reconstruction was carried out only in 2008.
As a result of the repair work, sick and old trees were replaced with new young ones, flower beds were arranged, tiled paths were laid, benches were installed, sports and children's playgrounds were organized, and the pond located in the center of the park was cleaned. In the fall of 2011, an exhibition of urban sculpture officially opened in Malookhtinsky Park, which includes eight unusual, but very organically fitting into the overall picture of the park, works by St. Petersburg sculptors dedicated to the year of Italy and Spain in Russia (“Dali Contemplating”, “Terra Italia”, “Venice”, “Lovers”, “Flamenco” and others). The exhibition was opened as part of the Symposium on Urban Sculpture, the main theme of which was: “Modern sculpture as a tool for shaping the aesthetics of the urban environment.”
