The halls of this museum display more than 5,000 exhibits.
These are ethnographic and folklore dolls, plot-based fairy-tale characters. Each hall of the doll museum has its own theme: the "Gone Rus'" hall, the hall of traditional rituals and holidays "Village Street", the "Pride and Glory of the Fatherland" hall, the interior doll hall, the "Theater and Masquerade" hall, "Forest Kingdom", gallery " Petersburg Perspektiva", fairy tale hall, two halls for temporary exhibitions. There is a hall with exhibits only for adults (the hall of frivolous dolls).
Demonstration workshops reveal the secrets of doll making.
