Museum "Lomonosov Porcelain Factory"

The porcelain factory was founded by decree of Empress Elizabeth Petrovna in 1744. The museum was created in the middle of the 19th century.

The museum's exhibition is based on the luxurious ceremonial services created at the factory, bouquets of porcelain flowers, vases and other items created for the imperial family.

In the 20th century, the exhibition was replenished with works from the Soviet period, Suprematist and propaganda porcelain.
The museum's collection includes more than 30 thousand exhibits and until now has been available only to narrow groups of specialists, art historians and especially important guests of the plant and the city.
