Its exhibits tell about the history, current state and prospects of the city’s water supply.
You can touch some of the museum's exhibits with your hands and see them in action. Five years after the museum began operating in the Water Tower, in 2008, the St. Petersburg Vodokanal opened another museum exhibition - “The Universe of Water”.
It is located in another industrial building - the premises of the former clean water reservoir of the Main Waterworks. The goal of the new multimedia exhibition is to show as fully as possible the importance of water on our planet and in the life of every person. The exposition of the complex consists of many elements, each of which represents one or another aspect of the existence of water, and all together they create a complete picture of today's knowledge about water, reflect the traditions of water use, and represent problems associated with the conservation of water on earth.
