Olginsky Pond is a small pond.
Address:
St. Petersburg, Svetlanovsky prospect
Despite the small size of the pond, the water here is clean, as the reservoir is fed by an underground river.
Due to its proximity to residential areas, the pond is very popular among outdoor enthusiasts during the summer months.
The pond was formed on the site of the former Yashumova sand quarry.
A significant part of the reservoir is overgrown with aquatic plants, and access to the pond is made difficult by a steep slope.
But all this is not an obstacle for those who prefer to bask on the sand in the sun in the summer.
