Moscow, Leningradsky Prospect, 59
The park received its current name due to the fact that a large number of aviation enterprises are located nearby: the Sukhoi Design Bureau, the Yakovlev Design Bureau, the Aeroflot company, and the Ilyushin Aviation Complex.
After reconstruction in the late 2000s, a memorial sign was installed in the park in honor of the famous Russian aviators. At the entrance to the park there are busts of scientist Nikolai Stroev and aircraft designer Alexander Yakovlev. Historical background
Before the revolution, the Small All Saints Grove, named after the village nearby, was located on the territory of the park. In 1878, on the outskirts of the grove, the Alexander Shelter was built for elderly and crippled soldiers of the Russian-Turkish war. After 1917, the territory of the grove was reduced, the remaining part became a cultural and recreation park for the Leningrad region.
