The Builders Park is located in the Nevsky district of St. Petersburg. The initiators of the construction of the park are the administration of the above-mentioned district and the Union of Construction Organizations. The park was founded on the city’s birthday, the three hundred and first anniversary of its founding.
Address:
Iskrovsky pr., 11
The Builders' Park is divided into two parts by Iskrovsky Prospekt, in one of the parts the Church of St.
The Supreme Apostle Peter. The five-domed church is made in the classical Russian style, and the adjacent sixty-meter bell tower is the tallest religious building among those currently erected in St. Petersburg. Thanks to the location of the park, the temple is visible from any direction at a great distance. The place for the construction of this temple was not chosen by chance: according to legend, the Apostle Peter was a builder in his earthly life, therefore he is considered the heavenly patron of representatives of this profession, as well as the city of St. Petersburg itself.
