Pionersky Park is located at: St. Petersburg, Piskarevsky Prospekt
Construction and landscaping of Pioneer Park began in 1968 and was initiated by the public.
The name of the park was given by the nearby Palace of Pioneers (now the Palace of Children and Youth Creativity). The park is very densely planted: here you can find birch, oak, elm, bird cherry, poplar, and rowan trees.
In addition, the park has many beautiful flower beds and lawns. A new children's playground has been built in the central part, where children's events, ceremonies, and youth festivals are held. Pioneer Park is both a reminder of the pioneer era and a modern place of culture and recreation. Shady vegetation, overgrown romantic alleys and well-groomed flower beds, cozy modest shops attract people of all ages. Artists find inspiration here, elderly people stroll leisurely, and young people relax. The park is actively visited by parents with children - it is suitable for children's recreation. The atmosphere of peace and solitude gives city residents the opportunity to “clear their heads” and put their thoughts in order, and take a break from the whirlwind of the city. In addition, there are convenient bicycle paths for those who like active pastime.
