The location is ideal in many respects: easy access, the beach is cozy and clean, the water is warm.
Address:
Sestroretsk, Gulf of Finland.
Swimming here, as on other beaches in the Gulf of Finland, although it is not allowed, there is a lifeguard station, and buoys float on the water.
Nearby there is parking, playgrounds for children and beach games. You can even have a picnic nearby with a bonfire and barbecue. Or rent a boat and go on a sea voyage. The only thing that bothers vacationers is mosquitoes. This beach got its name from the Dubki park, on the shore of which it is located.
It is fenced off from other beaches by a strip of forest. The sand on Dubkovsky beach is not fine, but rather medium, mixed with pebbles. At the beginning of summer there was no garbage here, with the exception of a few plastic bottles and candy wrappers. The water, although it does not meet sanitary standards, looks clean and transparent, which allows you to carefully examine the sandy bottom of the bay.
Beach regulars, despite any prohibitions, not only swim here, but also manage to dive. They say that the depth at the bend is sufficient for this. Swimmers are also attracted by the water temperature itself - like fresh milk, especially in the middle of summer - about 25 degrees. The only problem for swimmers, besides the ban from Rospotrebnadzor, is that by this time the bay begins to bloom. In addition, you can find wetlands here, which gives mosquitoes plenty of freedom on the beach. But there are still more advantages: several hotels and shops have been built near the Dubkovsky beach.
And on the beach itself there are toilets, a volleyball court and even a stage, so here you can not only sunbathe and dive, but also practice singing or read your own monologue. The audience, believe me, will be provided. Especially on weekends and holidays. Many come here on weekdays: the proximity to St. Petersburg is captivating. If you get there by car, then from the Sestroretsk station you will need to drive about a kilometer along Dubkovskoye Highway, and then turn right into any alley. Getting there by train, bus or minibuses is also very easy and quite fast. From the Finlyandsky Station you need to go to the Sestroretsk station, and then on foot in 10 - 15 minutes you will reach the place. Buses and minibuses to Sestroretsk depart from the Chernaya Rechka and Staraya Derevnya metro stations.
