BEACH IN THE PARK OF THE 300TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE PRIMORSKY DISTRICT
Address:
St. Petersburg, prosp. Primorsky, park of the 300th anniversary of St. Petersburg
This beach is famous not only for its real sea air and pleasant light sand, but also for the fact that on sunny days a huge number of people gather here.
That’s why many people don’t like him. But with a big friendly group you can not only sunbathe on the shore, imagining as if you are at sea, but also play volleyball - there are volleyball stands in the park. Or ride a bicycle or Segway: they are available for rent near the park. Vacationers are pleasantly surprised by the size of the beach in the 300th Anniversary Park - about 1 km long and 100 meters wide.
From here you have a stunning view of the new passenger seaport, where luxury cruise ships moor. There is a cafe with live music nearby. Swimming in the 300th Anniversary Park is prohibited.
The water is cloudy and cold even in sunny weather, since this is where the Neva flows into the Gulf of Finland. In addition, according to vacationers, traces of fuel oil are visible on the surface of the water. Most likely, because here along the bay lies the route of all kinds of barges and ships. But, despite all the prohibitions and warnings, there are more than enough people who want to swim in the “St. Petersburg sea”. On sunny days, people splashing and frolicking in the water, like mushrooms after the rain. A big problem with the beach, and indeed the 300th anniversary park itself, is the lack of toilets.
And therefore the question “to drink or not to drink in the heat?” becomes rhetorical... But for supporters of soft drinks there is still a way out (albeit distant): with a brisk step in 10-15 minutes you can get to a shopping complex with toilets. The 300th anniversary park itself is not even twenty years old, and therefore it looks more like a huge green field with young trees.
In the center there is a fountain (though it works very rarely) and a decorative lighthouse. You can get to the beach by metro and minibuses. Distance from the station The Staraya Derevnya metro station is about 3 km from the 300th Anniversary Park; it can be reached by minibus No. 232, tram No. 19 or bus No. 93. From the station. metro station "Komendantsky Prospekt" - bus number 134, from the station. metro station "Chernaya Rechka" - tram No. 48, minibus No. 132, from the station. metro station "Pionerskaya" - bus number 93.
