The highest restaurant in St. Petersburg, “Etazh 41,” opened its doors to guests at the end of October 2015. Now everyone can admire the impressive panorama from a bird's eye view. Located on the forty-first floor of the Leader Tower business complex at an altitude of 145.5 m, “Floor 41” is the highest building in both the Northern capital and Northern Europe. Its windows offer an all-round view, allowing you to see the domes of the Trinity and St. Isaac's Cathedrals, the Gulf of Finland and Vasilyevsky Island, and in the evenings the lights of the airport runway add atmosphere.
The concept chef of the restaurant, the award-winning Daniel Negreira, has developed an original menu in which fusion dishes are distinguished by an exquisite, extraordinary presentation. Daniel's signature style is a symbiosis of unusual textures and expressive tastes, passion and innovation. The chef was Tan Ya Hong, who worked with Daniel in his other projects. The cuisine of Floor 41 masterfully combines a modern understanding of Russian, European and Asian culinary traditions. Among the dishes are duck creme brulee, Gravlax salmon with orange caviar and fresh plums, risotto with Kamchatka crab, duck burger, the already famous Krasnoyarsk deer loin with prune puree and dark chocolate paper and milk volcano with fruits . Domestic products are used here, playing with them in accordance with current gastronomic trends. For those who want to discover new tastes, the chefs will prepare a set menu of snacks with elements of molecular gastronomy right at the bar counter. And the multi-faceted bar menu includes a line of signature cocktails with bright ingredients.
The restaurant's interior, an integral part of which is an unforgettable view of the city, was created by the Moscow bureau ArchPoint, which designed the appearance of the Moscow establishments White Rabbit and Selfie. Slender white columns, a wall decorated with real moss and a soft quilted bar counter are harmoniously integrated into the space of “Floor 41”, and Scandinavian minimalism is enlivened by a variety of green plants floating in the air. In the gastrobar area you can daydream near the designer wood-burning fireplace, in the gastro restaurant you can watch the chefs working in the open kitchen, and from Wednesday to Saturday you can have a lot of fun in the karaoke room. In addition, there are private areas and a separate hall, convenient for holding conferences or business lunches. The Etazh 41 restaurant is also ideal for weddings, banquets and corporate events. In the spring of 2016, a helicopter and observation deck with a summer terrace and the possibility of on-site registration at the highest point in St. Petersburg are planned on the roof. In December, the restaurant will also have a room for the youngest guests, where a nanny-animator is on duty every day, and on Sundays educational classes and puppet shows are held.
From Thursday to Saturday, guests will enjoy live music: the cover band HighTower Band, a project created specifically for “Floor 41,” will enjoy world hits. Dj Bulgakov is responsible for the atmospheric sound. But not only these inspiring events are available to the restaurant’s visitors: in the evenings, nature itself fills it with sunsets of fabulous beauty, which are not always visible from the ground. And so that guests could view the panorama opening from a dizzying height in every detail, “Floor 41” provided binoculars in the restaurant halls and on the observation deck.
The “Etage 41” restaurant is a gift to both connoisseurs of original cuisine and true fans of St. Petersburg: gastronomic discoveries and the opportunity to enjoy the views of the city are inseparable from each other here.
