The opening of the center at the Astoria Hotel became for me another pleasant reason to go to my favorite city on the Neva.
I must say, I’ve already stayed at the famous hotel on St. Isaac’s Square a couple of times and was still waiting for a really good SPA to appear there. And recently, two people have been working here at once! On the ground floor there is the Carita Beauty House, which is famous for its facial, hair and hand care treatments.
On the seventh floor there is a salon with massage rooms, a Finnish sauna, a Turkish steam room and a cozy relaxation area. It was here – for a relaxing aroma massage, considered the pride of the French brand – that I decided to go after a long walk from the Admiralty to Smolny and back. First, I was invited to warm myself in the steam room in order to better prepare my body for the upcoming manipulations.
In the Northern capital, even in summer it is not often hot, so the offer turned out to be very helpful! And about 15 minutes later the main part of the program began. Its main character is a balm with a high content of soothing and stress-relieving essential oils. New SPA center Decleor in St. Petersburg.
According to the center’s specialists, most clients quickly fall asleep - the massage movements are so measured. And it’s true: remembering my professional duty, I honestly tried to follow the process, but still sometimes I fell into a half-asleep. They are extremely attentive to the application of the products: for the best effect, the cosmetologist combined a variety of techniques - shiatsu acupressure, Balinese study of energy lines and Hawaiian kneading with the forearms. All manipulations were smooth and did not cause the slightest discomfort. As a result, after the session you feel surprisingly relaxed - you want to speak in a half-whisper and not rush anywhere. Well, or just go to bed - which, I admit, is what I did.
