Address:St. Petersburg, Suzdal Lakes
In the north of the city, near the Ozerki metro station, there are three lakes where people sunbathe and relax in the summer.
Suzdal lakes are a chain of three lakes:
Upper Lake is located north of Poklonnaya Gora. The average depth is 2.5-3 m (maximum - 11 m), length - 600 m, width - 450 m.
The middle lake is much smaller than the Upper one - its length is 400 meters and its width is 250 meters
Big Lower Lake is the largest lake of the three, the length of the lake is 2 km and the width is 600 meters. Two rivers flow into the lake - from the north the Starozhilovka River, and in the west the Kamenka River. The Lower Lake is connected to the Middle Channel through an underground collector. They are separated by a narrow isthmus a couple of hundred meters long.
Currently, the lakes are a recreation area for city residents. There are beaches on the shore, but the cleanliness of the lake water is cause for concern.
