The Italian restaurant Francesco is the first joint project of the Ginza Project holding and restaurateur Arkady Novikov (Arkady Novikov Group of Companies).
The restaurant is located in the historical center of St. Petersburg, in a fashionable, prestigious area. In this area there are the famous Smolny Cathedral, Alexander Nevsky Square, Alexander Nevsky Lavra, Peter the Great Bridge, Staronevsky Prospekt, Tauride Palace and Tauride Garden, as well as mansions of the 18th-19th centuries. From the second floor of the restaurant there is a unique view of the picturesque Tavricheskaya Street. New spatial solutions make Francesco light and comfortable. Each item is a reflection of the essence of the establishment: large soft light sofas, mirrors in massive handmade wooden frames, sideboards, golden candlesticks and forged lamps.
Francesco is a restaurant of haute Italian cuisine, fully meeting the quality and traditions of Italy. Italian management was specially invited to manage it, in particular Francesco Barbato. The restaurant's menu consists exclusively of original recipes: homemade bread and the highest quality products. It is presented with nine types of dishes and an extensive wine list (fish and meat dishes, homemade pastas and risotto, soups, a variety of pizzas). The restaurant's chef, Giuseppe Priolo, has compiled the menu in a special way - it is updated daily with new items, exclusive dishes, including oysters, langoustines, fresh large fish (swordfish, tuna, etc.).
